Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Flint ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
Service Description
Flint is a personal expense tracking application for iOS. The App allows you to manually record expenses, set budgets, track subscriptions, analyze spending patterns, and export financial data. All data is stored locally on your device.
License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, subject to the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter into the App. Flint is a tracking tool and does not provide financial advice. You should not rely on the App as your sole record of financial transactions. We recommend maintaining separate official records and regularly exporting your data for backup purposes.
Subscriptions and Billing
Certain features require an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and managed entirely by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, interface, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the app.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Flint or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted within the App and on this page. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
